By a joint decision of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), the China-Canada Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot program will be extended for five years, effective from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2031. The relevant requirements and procedures for filing PPH requests with both offices remain unchanged.
