Two IP Lawsuits Selected as Top 10 Cases

The 2008 top ten legal news ranking was recently unveiled in Beijing, an annual event participated by the Central Social Security Office, the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.

Two intellectual property cases were listed among the top 10. One is a case by the China Audio-Video Copyright Association against KTV businesses in Beijing that refused to pay for using songs; the other is a case by nearly a thousand masters and doctors against Wanfang Data for copyright infringement.
