China National IP Publicity Week Organized by 24 Departments

On April 16, the organizing committee for the National Intellectual Property Publicity Week held a news conference. Accordingly, 24 departments jointly organized the National Intellectual Property Publicity Week from April 20 to 26.

With the theme of “Culture, Strategy and Development”, the publicity week aims to accelerate the construction of IP culture, facilitate the implementation of national IP strategy and promote the rapid and healthy development of China's IPR cause.

The IP Publicity Week includes 7 days with different thematic events. The opening ceremony was held on April 20 in Beijing Olympic Park Square and was attended by all the members of the organizing committee. April 21-23 were media reporting days. News release and exhibitions activities on IPR protection and achievements were held. April 24 was the publicity day and a series of IPR forums and seminars were held to publicize IPR knowledge. April 25 was the service day and a series of consulting, receipting and opening activities were organized to the public. The government implemented new measures to serve the public. April 26 was both the anniversary and the 9th World Intellectual Property Day. A series of awarding and celebrating ceremonies were organized to commemorate the World Intellectual Property Day and to encourage people to create innovative works.
